Wangu terms of use

Last updated 6 November 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and [Business name to be added] (“we”, “us”) about using Wangu on the web and on iPhone. By creating an account or using Wangu you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Wangu.

The short version. Wangu is a budgeting tool, not financial advice. Be kind to the people you share a Kitty with, keep your login safe, and you can cancel a paid plan or delete your account whenever you like.

Who can use Wangu

You must be 18 or over. You are responsible for the information you add and for keeping your login private.

What Wangu is, and isn't

Wangu helps you plan and track money you tell it about. It is not a bank, it doesn't move or hold your money, and it is not financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Figures, estimates, forecasts and AI answers can be wrong, so check anything important before you act on it. Exchange rates and fee comparisons are estimates, not quotes.

Households and sharing

A Kitty can be shared. The person who creates it is its owner and approves who joins. What you share, you share with the people in that Kitty. Our privacy policy explains what stays private.

Using Wangu properly

Your data

Your data is yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Wangu for you. You can download it or delete your account at any time (see Settings, Privacy and your data).

If something goes wrong

We work hard to keep Wangu running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or remove features. We aren't responsible for losses that come from decisions you make using Wangu's figures, from things we couldn't reasonably prevent, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Consumer rights you have by law, including a right to digital content that is of satisfactory quality, are not affected.

Ending things

You can stop using Wangu and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why where we can.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters we'll tell you in the app before it applies. Carrying on after that means you accept the changes.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute, though if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also use your local courts.
